“Good Stuff”
Reviewed September 23, 2013

We enjoyed a lovely lunch at the Sherwood Inn and thought we'd just peek in afterward. I could not help myself to their ruggalah (sp). I wish I had bought more than 3 pieces. It was a darling little shop and the service was very friendly and fast.

“Some Great Baked Goods”
Reviewed September 13, 2013

After having dinner at the Sherwood Inn out front we always go here for a few baked goods and bread to take home. The bread is served at the Sherwood and is to die for. As for their baked goods they just don't come any better. Weather it's cookies, tarts, pies or fancy baked goodies, you will love this place. It's a must for my wife and I whenever we visit Skaneateles. Try some and you'll be back for more.

“To Die For”
Reviewed September 12, 2013

If it was the last food you could ever have, go there to get it. While it won't be a meal, you'll die a happy person from their pastries! I can see why The Patisserie is ranked Number #1, even though its a bakery, not a restaurant! We sampled their shortbread with lemon filling and shortbread topped within raspberry, caramel and chopped nuts. WOW! And let's not even mention their "Stretch Bread". Okay - let's! By far the best bread we've ever had. They had served it the night before at The Sherwood Inn with our dinner. Then again for brunch. People stood by the brunch buffet, waiting for more bread first thing in the morning. We'll also mention their coffee. My husband enjoyed their cup to go of Creme Brûlée coffee. Probably the best coffee to go that he's had. Sorry Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks... Before retuning home, we stopped there in the morning and loaded up on their goodies to take home! You won't want to miss this place! It's located behind the Sherwood Inn.

“Our favorite Place in Skaneateles!”
Reviewed September 9, 2013

The Patisserie is the best bakery in town and anywhere close for that matter. On a recent trip for our anniversary we made the not to be missed trip to the Patisserie. As usual the baked goods were superb! We had coffee and three awesome sweet treats! And as always we went back the next day to buy a few loaves of the best bread around to take back to Rochester! Don't miss this place!!

“more than a pastry shop”
Reviewed September 5, 2013

We decided to have breakfast here before we hit the road home. We were expecting a simple pastry shop, as the size of the place is quite small. That was definitely a misconception. The number of different items produced in this little place is amazing. Muffins and cupcakes were really good and so were the pastry squares with a buttery cookie base and pecans on top. The sticky bun was large and gooey - just as it should be, They also make bread that smelled delicious. the coffee was an added pleasure - hot, fresh, and flavorful. Prices are very reasonable.
