My girlfriend and I visited The Dining Room at Mirbeau Inn & Spa for Sunday brunch. Brunch starts at 11:30AM. As of December, the price for Sunday brunch is $25.
The grounds and hotel are both very nice, picturesque even. The dining room is elegantly decorated, and the service was good. The food was average to above average, but we couldn't justify the price of $25 per person.
It is an all-you-care-to-eat brunch with some hot breakfast foods (scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, DELICIOUS French toast, potatoes) and some hot lunch items (it was pierogies and beef stroganoff this particular Sunday). There was also a cheese spread, a small salad area, some deserts and some pastries (croissants, scones, muffins, etc.)
My girlfriend really said it best, "For $25, there should be an omelette station or something." I think that's what it was missing, or a meat carving station or something. While the quality of food was good/above average, for $25 per person I expected a larger selection & variety of food.
Would we eat here again? Probably, but that's just because it's the only Sunday brunch place we could find.
