I'm not enthusiastic about this place, but should probably not review based on a single experience, so I'll give them some benefit of the doubt. If I were to shade the grade, I'd put it between good and very good.
Room is small. Hard acoustic surfaces make the room noisy even when they are not too busy (like when we were there at 2PM on a Friday). Decor is delightfully crisp and clean as per the picture.
We were looking for a light lunch so shared a chopped salad and an order of the calamari. Salad was fine. Absolutely fresh greens and additions of cheese, sausage, peppers, and probably other things. Dressing was great. Calamari on the other hand, both rings and tentacles, while nicely presented and served with a delicious sauce, was overdone - so it was distinctly rubbery. Calamari can easily get this way, but in this league they ought to have them perfect.
Pizza that we saw at other tables might have been a better choice. Perhaps that is their strength.
Located on the main drag in town in a prime location across from the park, this is definitely sort upscale chic. Our two small plates, one glass of wine, (one of us is on the wagon), came to about $33 with taxes.
