We loved the burger, loved the amount and choice of toppings - fries were also very good. I'm going back soon.

This is an old school burger joint with lots of new twists (the quesadilla burger, for one). Great burgers, cooked to order. Busy, loud, friendly, I would definitely recommend.

Stopped in for some burgers and found the burgers to be okay but the fries and onion were very greasy and not too our liking. I would probably not dine here again as there are better places in the area.

Looking for so please to eat in Skaneatlas not far from the water. Saw Johnny Angel's and went in. Very clean interior with a somewhat '50's retro feel inside. The burgers are straight ground sirloin beef with no fillers. I had the chicken breast sandwich (you put on your own condiments and toppings yourself. Basic standard offerings for that. ) and fries. Good fries but an average portion size which was fine for me as a woman but a man might like more. The men of the family said the burgers were ok but nothing special. There are fountain drinks and some bottled water, milk, and beer. Bottled water was pricey @ $3.25 each. Food is cooked to order so you will have to wait for that. Will we go back? Maybe, but it probably won't be at the top of our list.

My spouse and I were there on a Tuesday afternoon. Very few patrons were there mid-afternoon. It's the type of place where you place your order at the main counter and they call your name when it's ready.
This is a great place for families because the seating is set up with long, long tables. The tables are covered in red/white oil cloth tables cloths which I found to be annoyingly sticky.
Service was a little slow but the food was very good. Prices were not cheap.
