We have visited this unique and beautiful Inn & Spa several times, and the experience has always been fantastic. Mirbeau is the perfect place for that get-a-way for a few days that we all need every once and a while.
Mirbeau Inn & Spa has recently been featured in the NY Times Best Seller, "1,000 Places To See Before You Die" by Patricia Schultz.
The Spa is an experience that you should not miss. The herbal infused steam room is a favorite of mine. The young staff is always kind and helpful. If you need a few quiet days to get a way by yourself or with someone that you care for, Mirbeau Inn & Spa is the percfect place.
For those on a budget, Mirbeau has just opened up an Adirondak Great Camp style Lodge across the street by the name of "Finger Lakes Lodging" that is a great value. The Log structures and hand made furnishings are great and the beds are the famous "Mirbeau Bed". Guests at the Lodge have preferential privildges to use the Mirbeau Dining Room and Spa just like guests at the Mirbeau Inn.

Visited Mirbeau on July 31, 2004, and I could not believe the beauty of this place. I was a bit scared after reading the negative reviews but upon our arrival, I found the people to be warm and very friendly. The hotel itself seems just like a small village in Europe. The grounds are breathtaking and extremely romantic. And it was the perfect time of the year. All the flowers were in full bloom. We did not get any treatments because they were pricey but we did use the regular spa facilities and they were pretty nice. Although the relaxation area was a bit too loud. We did not eat on the property because the prices were also pretty high and we did not care for the selections on the menu. We did, however, find a great little place in town called the Blue Water Grill that was excellent. The menu options were always great and the prices were very affordable. So, if you are willing to travel the 5 minutes into town, you will have no problems with your meals. And If your intentions are to relax and have a romantic get away, this is the place. It is a lovers fantasy. And remember, be friendly and you will sure get a smile.
