“Historic place with tasty Italian food”
Reviewed September 19, 2012

We were visiting the area and heard of this almost 100 year old place in the Italian section. What a great find for lunch--all the food looked great with large portions. We shared a mega panini of eggplant parmigiana made with their famous tomato pie pizza slices--one was large enough for two people and it came with delicious Italian wedding soup and wonderful bread. This terrific combo was only $8.85--a tasty bargain. They also have some outdoor seating in the front and rear. Do not miss this great place.

“There is no better Italian bread, anywhere”
Reviewed August 21, 2012

Perreca's has long been known for there phenomenal breads, but their restaurant is outstanding as well. Went with a group for lunch one day, and we were impressed. The food was excellent, and the service was outstanding.

“Great Italian Food”
Reviewed August 12, 2012

My husband and I dined at Perrecas on a Thur night. The food was wonderful, chicken parm and linguini with white clam sauce, and the portions were huge. As others have said the bread is fantastic. Courtney was our waitress and was very friendly. We will be going back. :)

“Secret place with some charm”
Reviewed August 11, 2012

Tis is a small bakery with an attached diner attached. The diner section is small, but offers a range of local Italian specialties. Good value with specials on each week night. There is a small outdoor section through the back if the weather allows. This is a basic 'local' eatery offering value and and different environment to your typical diner. The food is cooked in an open area visible to all. The bakery is famous for great Italian breads.

“Great Bread and Tomato Pie”
Reviewed July 28, 2012

Perreca's is famous for it's bread made fresh constantly. I always go there to purchase their fresh mozzarella cheese and parmesan. The other treat at Perreca's is their wonderful Tomato Pie. It is not your traditional pizza. It is made with their dough and lots of wonderful fresh tomato sauce without cheese. People stand in line sometimes to get into Perreca's. It is located in the area of Schenectady called Little Italy and Civitello's is also right across the street. If you like Italian - you will love Perreca's.
