“Great Bread and Tomato Pie”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 28, 2012

Perreca's is famous for it's bread made fresh constantly. I always go there to purchase their fresh mozzarella cheese and parmesan. The other treat at Perreca's is their wonderful Tomato Pie. It is not your traditional pizza. It is made with their dough and lots of wonderful fresh tomato sauce without cheese. People stand in line sometimes to get into Perreca's. It is located in the area of Schenectady called Little Italy and Civitello's is also right across the street. If you like Italian - you will love Perreca's.

“Cupcakes e PANE!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 14, 2012

Cupcakes are amazing. 1/2 each, and its not hard to finish them because they are so good! As Jack Nicholson can attest... the bread is simply amazing. Toast a slice, eat it plain, add some butter... no matter what il pane e sempre buono e fresco, the bread is always delicious and fresh!

“get the bread”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 13, 2012

Can't say more than get the bread - it is worth it - crusty, really crusty. Makes great garlic bread, sandwiches, side for pasta, etc. The BEST bread in the world!

“A trip to the past”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 14, 2012

The bread was GREAT! It was like a 19402 bakery/deli. Not in the best of neighborhoods but worth stopping in for a taste of lil' Italy
