I've been to Johnny's twice for lunch. Both times it was very good, albeit a limited menu. We decided to try it for dinner.
It was a busy Friday night (event at the Theater across the street). We sa at the bar while waiting for the rest of our party. After some confusion regarding the number in our party, we were seated. The service is excellent. Our waiter was attentive, but not intrusive. We didn't feel rushed at all, but it was after 7 pm. Menu consists of both Italian staples (parmigianas) and other choices. Prices are reasonable for both food and drinks. Our only issue is that they were out of some things due to the early theater crowd. So, after ordering one of the specials, our waiter had to come back to explain that it was sold out. He was very apologetic.
Overall, the food is very good, service is excellent and prices are reasonable. It doesn't have a "wow" factor, but it is exactly what it presents itself to be - a good Italian restaurant.
