Description: Massa' is an Italian restaurant and wine bar that is brought to life by father and son team, Pasquale and Francesco Coli. In business together for more than a decade, they open Massa' as their second venture. Pasquale serves as Massa' executive chef and brings his expertise of the Italian cuisine to life through a classic menu-‑his specialty being seafood. Massa' features a variety of Italian dishes on its menu with an accent on fresh fish and seafood sourced worldwide and flown in daily, in addition to an array of seasonal specials. The name of the restaurant, Massa', short for masseria, is an old-world country farmhouse on an estate often found in Puglia, where Pasquale and Francesco were born. The restaurant was completely renovated for a "farmhouse" ambiance with a planked vaulted ceiling, floor to ceiling stone fireplace and wood floors. The wood throughout is reclaimed wood over 100 years old sourced from barn houses in New England adding to the authentic, rustic feel.

“Double check your check !!!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 2, 2013 via mobile

Went there as part of group of 6 to celebrate a birthday. Ordered a bottle of wine suggested by waiter @ $ 48.00. Got our bill and it showed 2 bottles for a total of $ 110.00 for the wine. Got it corrected but was it an honest or dishonest mistake? Personally I think it was a dishonest mistake hoping to take advantage of 6 people who were there to celebrate a birthday. Good restaurant, short of ample parking but left a bad taste in 6 people's mouths.

“Sunday Brunch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 18, 2013

The Sunday Brunch is a MUST !!! Waffles, French Toast, Fritatta, Eggs Benedict, Home Fries, Sausage, Bacon, and more!! I had the eggs benedict and they were the best in the area! My husband had the eggs benedict on crab cakes and he devoured them! I am so glad Massa started the brunch... definitely going to be a Sunday regular! :) I cannot wait to go back and have the waffles loaded with fresh berries that I saw as it passed us going to another table. Sunday 12 - 3 pm.

“No MAS”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 13, 2013

My husband and I visited this restaurant in the spring of 2012 and were slightly disappointed with the menu options. However, we decided to give it another chance in February, 2013, because we liked the ambiance of Heath Cote Tavern. What a worse disappointment upon our re-visit, we were given menus and ordered our dinner. After enjoying our appetizers, the owner came over and advised that we were given the incorrect menus and had already put in our orders, but at the higher, new prices. We tried to not let that news bother us and hoped that the price would had been charged in our favor on the check, which did not happen. Upon leaving, we suggested to the owner that possibly he should have honored the lower price, he said "good night" and abruptly turned away. We are done with the place.

“Sorry we waited so long.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 8, 2013

My husband and I dined at Massa last night and had a lovely dinner. We live locally and dine out often, for some reason we had never been here. From the moment we walked in the excellent service was evident. A warm greeting at the door and immediately seated at a table for four in the first floor room. A note for cold evenings...I would have preferred sitting upstairs where it is warmer. I had the beet salad, my husband the calamari to begin, both wonderful. Steak and rack of lamb were equally enjoyable. A note of appreciation, an annoyance to me is when plates are cleared before everyone is finished eating. Kudos to Massa for not doing this.

“Our wedding reception was A++ at Massa'!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 20, 2013

We had our wedding reception at Massa' on Dec 15 2012.
Being that we live in Italy and wanted A+ food and ambiance we picked this restaurant to meet our needs and wants. Francesco, the owner was accommodating in every which way and the food was paced perfectly throughout the afternoon.
The restaurant was completely ours due to Massa' not being open a la carte on Saturday afternoons. The party ended at 5:45 because the staff had to prepare for their 6pm bookings for the general public.
The waiters were "on the ball" with filling everyone's glasses with water and/or wine.
Great experience!!!!
