I cannot rave enough about this place! I tell all of my friends in NYC about it. I've stayed here twice now with my then fiance and now husband. Joe and Amanda are the two kindest people you will ever meet and the greatest hosts!

I came here in July and the property is perfectly situated to explore the nearby towns and do outdoorsy fun things like paddle boarding or hiking. Also in close proximity to Hudson and Woodstock, both of which have great restaurants and fun things to do. Amanda is a wealth of information and is great at helping find things to do if you are ever in need. Joe is an incredible chef who creates delicious, healthy, and wholesome foods with a variety of flavors.

Breakfast is included and that's been a highlight of both of our trips out here! We more recently came in October for our mini-moon and the grounds are absolutely stunning in the fall. Definitely recommend to anyone and everyone! Best for couples or families, you will not be disappointed!!

          The Villa of Tranquility and Warmth

          Our adult family of five spent five magical days and nights at The Villa. Amanda's magnificent gardens and interiors together with Joe's delectable breakfasts and dinner create an extraordinary environment to relax, enjoy and recharge. The magic of The Villa is Amanda and Joe. Their warmth and gracious hospitality enveloped us from the moment we arrived through the moment of our departure with special treats for the trip home. We did not want to leave. We hope to return to Amanda and Joe's magic soon.

          Can't wait to go back!

          We just returned home after a 3 night stay at the Villa at Saugerties. We were blown away by the experience and without a doubt will be retuning. Such an amazing place to unwind, enjoy the gardens and take a swim in the pool. The food was out of this world - all three breakfasts and the dinner were like nothing we ever had before. 10 out 10 all round. Thanks Joe and Amanda for an unbelievable experience. We will be booking again soon!

          Can't wait until next time!

          Amanda and Joe are the best! It was superb. Clean, quiet, and cozy... the perfect weekend getaway. The decor was impressive all throughout the house. Amanda and Joe were more than willing to accommodate and made sure we had everything we needed. Their recommendations in the area did not disappoint! Their home cooked breakfast was phenomenal, a farm to table treat.

          Go For The Amenities and Stay For The Breakfast!

          Go for the amenities and stay for the breakfast!

          Amanda and Joe have taken the bed and breakfast experience to another level. My wife and I had no idea what to expect, when we drove through the manicured driveway. The serene ambiance they have created, coupled with an exquisite decor, make for a truly one of a kind experience in the Hudson Valley.

          This feeling was only eclipsed by the amazing culinary delights being cooked up by husband Joe in their kitchen. Gourmet French Toast, Shakshuka, and Caramelized grape fruit; were just some of the amazing dishes my wife and I tasted for breakfast during our stay.

          The only negative, is that we couldn't stay there forever. Its well worth the visit, you will not regret it!

          - Even more amazing breakfast!

          Must visit!

          By far the most amazing bed & breakfast I have ever stayed at. The service here is really only comparable to a 5 star hotel -- but you have the added benefit of two of the kindest and most helpful hoteliers around (Amanda & Joe).

          Amanda designed the Villa from scratch, and every single detail is perfect, from the beautiful Venetian stucco walls to the reclaimed wood beams. Amanda has managed to create a space that is both high design and very welcoming.

          Joe's food is, likewise, phenomenal. Joe humbly explained that he is not a "professional" chef, but he is not a "professional" the same way your grandmother isn't a "professional" -- he takes more time, and puts more thought into every dish than a chef in a professional kitchen would be able. The food is made with care, and it is delicious.

          My wife and I cannot wait to go back!
