Since the restaurant isn't listed separately, I'll post my review here. The accommodations look first class though. We had no problem finding Diamond Mills, but better signage is a must for the entrance to their upscale restaurant. We were warmly greeted and the staff was most accommodating, seating us next to the floor-to-ceiling fireplace that is the focal point of the elegant two-story dining room area. The high backed booths, however, blocked our views, and we wonder if that might become a complaint. The restaurant has a metropolitan feel and is pricey but has reasonable choices as well. (We were surprised that our bottle of Riesling ran $38, but our fault for not asking beforehand.) The menu selections were “creative” and limited our choices a little: the Chicken Capricciosa, Cavatelli Bolognese, rib eye, and lamb shank all were excellent – the Horseradish Mashed Potatoes oh so tasty! Except for some burned bread toast, which was quickly replaced when we asked, the food presentations were works of art. The staff must become more attentive to such details if DM will be promoted as a luxury destination. Each couple shared a decadent dessert and had but one doggie bag between the four of us. On our departure we toured the actual “tavern,” which is charming with its tin ceiling and beautiful wooden bar. In addition to an awesome-looking Tavern Skillet Burger, there are some inviting shops along Main and Partition Streets that will warrant a return visit to Saugerties during HITS.

Just opened. Really beautiful even in frigid Jan. Still getting a few minor kinks out but the staff was top notch. All rooms overlook a fab waterfall and have balconies. Amazing restaurant too. Will definitely go back in the fall.

A brand new 30 room boutique hotel done right, with all the elements of service and decorations of a top quality place, in mellow Saugerties, NY. The staff is fabulous, couldnt be moore friendly and accomodating to all our needs. Over looking beautifull falls, The rooms are large and very nice with all modern facilities and great touches.

Tonight we are having dinner at the hotels restaurant called the Tavern, will post later about the experience but my guess would be that it will be even better.

Room Tip: all the rooms face the waterfall, cant loose.
