This is an interesting local attraction. There is not too much to see and do except monumental centerpiece. I though it would be more sculptures and more elaborate gardens. There is no house to visit - only a small museum full of old rusted tools - which is somewhat interesting for those who know what these tools were for. If in the area – it worth the visit as the place is rather unusual.

Very unique and worth the trip. Mr Fite spent years working on the grounds ,turning an abandoned quarry into a breathtaking sculpture. Not too many sights like this anywhere .

Bizarre place that someone obviously had too much time of their hands to create. I'd much rather go to a museum.

Off the beaten track and very cool. Take the 10 minutes to watch a video that will inform you about the sculpture who made Opus 40 his life time sculpture all while working as a professor at Bard College. Bring a picnic lunch, a bottle of wine and plan on spending some time marveling at his work. You could walk through the property in under an hour but you get the true benefit from sitting and absorbing the enormity and beauty of it. There are rock walls upon walls upon walls. There is one area where you walk and the temperature drops dramatically. There are also several sculptures all around the property. Such a peaceful, beautiful place to spend an afternoon.
