Union Gables is everything you could want in a B&B. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with lovely furnishings. The breakfasts are perfect, early coffee followed by a wonderful assortment of breakfast choices.
Our hosts were very knowledgeable about the area and were very helpful and engaging. We would love to return to Union Gables.

This was our first time in a B&B. We didn't know what to expect. We saw Union Gables online...looked at each other...and said "This can't be real!" Well, it is. Just beautiful on the outside with lush gardens, fountains and plenty of nooks and crannies to sit and relax in. The indoor common rooms simply have to be seen. We stayed in the Henry Suite which was a 1600 square foot house, we had the entire downstairs which was just gorgeous, Comfortable King Size bed, Full kitchen, I mean FULL kitchen with Full sized frig/stove/oven/microwave/double sink. The list just goes on and on with antique furnishings/Glass cases full of old toys and memorabilia, a Real Coke machine which I think was from the 60's!. Tom, Barb and Chef Steve are truly three of the nicest people you'd ever want to meet. Breakfast was fast, personally created to your liking and Very tasty! Any other B&B whether in Saratoga or anywhere USA would have to meet up to the standards that Tom & Barb have established here at Union Gables. It Simply can't get better than this! Guess you figured by now that I will be staying here again in the future. Your Right! Thanks Guys!

Room Tip: Just stay at the Union Gables Henry room and you won't be disappointed.

This is our 2nd review because the first didn't show up on the reviews. So! we thought enough of our experience to write it again. Union Gables left nothing to be desired. Fantastic rooms with
genuine antique furnishings.. Clean, extremely convenient to track and downtown. Hosts Tom
and Barbara extremely friendly and helpful and with past's that were interesting to sit and chat
with on the porch.Coffee and cake available all day plus complimentary wine and beer (all day)
We enjoyed that very much on the porch each evening before going out to dinner. Speak about
eating, breakfast was the best we have ever had at any B&B. In addition to every usual breakfast goodies such as scones, and cakes, fresh fruits salad and yogurts, breads and spreads, each person was visited by Steve the hotel chef for your own personal order of your
breakfast specialty. Being on diets, we had egg white omelets made with fresh vine tomatoes,
ham, and chopped basil. Sound good? tasted even better. Ending our comments with, Union
Gables is the only place to stay when visiting Saratoga.

Room Tip: if you like a large room, select one of the adjoining houses with private patios etc located just steps away from the main house and porch.

We stayed for one night in the "Michael" room at the conclusion of the racing meet, and the experience couldn't have been lovelier. The room was spacious, comfortable, wonderfully decorated and the common rooms were delightful as well. To cap things off, when we came down for breakfast the next morning, there was Chef Steve ready to create whatever we wanted (which turned out to be an AMAZING goat cheese omelette with fresh-from-the-garden tomatoes and basil!) Just wish we could stay here all summer long ...
