Yesterday was our 4th time attending Chianti. It was my first time eating there since being diagnosed with celiac. BC (before celiac) Chianti was our favorite "special event" restaurant. We had hesitated going because, from their online menus, there didn't appear to be many gluten free options. We had a gift card so we gave it a go. I was amazed all over again! They had many more GF items than stated on their online menu. PLUS - they also offered GF pasta (although it was an additional $2). We didn't have a reservation so we sat in the bar, which was a first for us. Our waiter (who was a bartender) was outstanding and was able to answer all my GF questions. He brought bread to our table for my husband and because I couldn't eat it, he brought me a complimentary bowl of olives (on his own - not asked or ordered). My risotto was outstanding and my husband enjoyed his meal as well. They even had an amazing flour-less chocolate torte - YUMMMMM!
