Two couples enjoyed the variety of funky beers. The burgers are very good and the duck reuben was very tasty. The mussels were a little "blah" even though they have many types of sauces available. Place was good, not incredible, pleasant enough though.

From the food to the drinks this place is amazing. Cucumber julep martini was to die for. Corey, Bob, Brian, Brady and the whole staff are very welcoming

Dinner at the Merry Monk was a fabulous experience. The scallop sliders were delightful and the mussels were amazing. In addition our waitress was excellent. It is a great place to share a meal with friends and family.

We went to the Merry Monk in Saratoga Springs tonight. I had the lobster roll trio for an appetizer; very tasty though not very substantial. I then had the choucroute garnie for the main entree: two sausages (pheasant and venison), a pile of sauer kraut, a dollop of mashed potatoes, and a mound of spicy brown mustard. The sausages were quite good, and the kraut and potatoes were decent. I enjoyed the meal with two draft beers: The Hophouse IPA and the French Louie Tripel. The Hophouse was excellent, but the French Louie was a sub for an Ogden Tripel that they ran out of. I was really looking forward to the Ogden Tripel and was a little disappointed with the the French Louie. The wife and sister in law each had the fish tacos and thought they were decent. Sister in law particularly liked her sangria. The guys we were with each had an iteration of the Merry Monk's 3/4 lb burgers, which were cooked perfectly and reportedly tasty. Our waitress was very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. Not cheap (draft beers are $8-10 on average), but overall a nice experience. Recommended.
