We stopped by upon our arrival in town and were given good information. We also did the walking tour on Thursday morning, which was very informative and interesting!

A great place to learn about the history and lore of Saratoga Springs. Once you visit the center you should head over to Congress Park to taste the various springs yourself.

I'm not sure what prompted us to stop here, but I'm glad we did. It's a very pretty old train station and they have nice clean bathrooms. The women at the desk were both very friendly and knowledgeable. We were going to a concert at Saratoga Springs Performance Center and they even called them for us to find out what time the parking lot/gates opened. They provided us with some brochures and restaurant tips. I will also say that the employees at the Gap were equally helpful in offering up tips.

It's centrally located so I would recommend a stop there before you head across the street to the park and springs. They'll give you a few paper cups so you can more easily taste the different spring waters.

We don't usually rely on visitors centers when we travel, so it was a little unusual for us to stop here. I'm happy we did because they had several brochures on self- guided tours around Saratoga that we would have otherwise missed. Guides on where to eat and such were also helpful. Impartial lists complied by location or type of food were helpful. Pick up downtown map and free parking locations too.
