“Ambiance adds to experience”
Reviewed April 14, 2013 via mobile

It is a lovely facility and if you are a golfer it makes it special. It has a cluby feel that a private country club has.
The service on our visit was flawed but that is not the norm. The waiters are slightly fawning but the crowd that
eats in the dining room expect being catered to. The food is similar to most Mazzone properties and the menu
is like 677 Prime in Albany. All good . The bar and the dining room were very buzy plus a wedding upstairs in the
banquet space. You may want valet parking on some nights because parking can be an issue.

“Easter Buffet”
Reviewed April 2, 2013

The Easter breakfast / lunch buffet was extensive, from cold starters, hot breakfast offerings through to a 2 meat carvery. There was probably something there for most tastes. The roast lamb was disappointingly undercooked and tough. Service was outstanding and one got the clear impression that the staff are very well trained and attentive - a welcome experience in a world of very mediocre service in most restaurants in the New York Capital District. The live music was great but not audible from where we were seated. As we were guests, I can't comment on the cost or value for what we enjoyed.

“Well for whatever reason this listing is a duplicate”
Reviewed March 8, 2013

If your willing to pay the price, which can be up there at times it is well worth the money. It is a classy well run place with great service and great food.

“Excellent food, good service”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

Have been to this restaurant numerous times, and am always very satisfied. The food is outstanding, the ambience is excellent, and the service is usually very good, although not as personable as the 677 prime in Albany(same owner). I often get the "cowboy steak" - ribeye. It is succulent every time. The appetizers are exquisite, many different ones to choose from. My wife had lobster, and thought it was wonderful. We had dessert, specialty coffees, and a few cocktails with dinner. With tax and tip $250. Worth every penny! Can't wait to go again!

“Top Quality”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

Second visit this last weekend for my wife's birthday. The bar area is first-rate and dining experience was perfection. My wife loved the attentiveness of the staff. Please note that you pay for it, but well worth it. Calamari is outstanding. I had the Strip Steak and the wife had the Veal Cutlet. They were sweet enough to give us a round of drinks on the house due to the birthday celebration, which I thought was a lovely gesture on their part.

Don't go here if you are not prepared to spend 2+ hours and relax!
