Where to start...the parking lot: a pile of junk, old chairs, broken yard equipment. Not welcoming as was our entry to the B&B. The housekeeper greeted us rather hastily, not the usual "show you everything". The room was not as described. The sitting area was a small rocker in the corner. There was not a single place for luggage. We had to put our bag on the bed, get what we needed, and put the bag back on the bed in the morning repeating the process.
As to the parlors, the furniture in one room looked so old and dirty I wouldn't sit there. The other parlor had a victorian settee which was not designed for a pleasant reading experience.
For the big price we paid and the state on the Caldwell house I would urge people to look elsewhere.
