My husband and I went to Bell and Anchor Restaurant to celebrate his birthday. We drove over an hour and half to get there and was looking forward to a great meal. We were greeted with all smiles from the staff at Bell and Anchor and was quickly brought to our table. For appetizers, we had the P.B.&O. ( Pork Belly, Oyster and Kimchi wrap) and a dozen West Coast oysters. The P.B.&O. was very tasty and we were very impressed with the flavorful and crunchy kimchi - just the way we like it. Also, the maitre D' immediately brought over a new plate when we told them that the pork was just slightly dried. The new plate was perfect with moist and tasty pork and we were very impressed with the customer service. For entree, we had the Tile Fish and the Surf and Turf ( lobster claws and 7 oz filet mignon with corn pudding and fingerling potatoes). The tile fish and lobster claws were delicious and the filet mignon was tender and perfectly cooked medium rare. For dessert, we had the dream brownie and coffee ice cream. Overall, it was a wonderful experience - great food, great ambience and fantastic service.
