A group of us ate here recently, and we all enjoyed Ravagh's authentic Persian food. We tried two appetizers (Kashk bademjan, and mast musir), both of which were excellent. For entrees our group had several of the kebabs, and all were good: I liked the jujeh kebab the best, although it can be a bit messy to eat because of the bones. The fesenjan was also good, except for the fact that the chicken in it seemed to have been added after the fact, not cooked in with the stew. Finally, we tried the baklava for dessert. Each serving is 4 pieces of assorted types, probably good for 2 people (we were pretty full at that point, since portions are large). It was very good, fresh and very delicious. With a cup of tea, the perfect way to end a meal. Overall, the service was good and attentive, and our waiter was very friendly. This place is easy to get to, right off the LIE, with (somewhat limited) parking right on the premises.
