This beach house was perfect for us. Just a short stroll to a lovely private beach with safe swimming for the children. It's in a really quiet location, yet a short drive to shops and attractions. We particularly liked the Aquarium and Kayaking at Riverhead, and Splish Splash Water Park. The house is charming, clean and really well equipped. We enjoyed having a bar-b-q every night and there was a wonderful sea view from the dining area. We also appreciated an excellent Wi-Fi signal and two televisions for the boys. As we were here in August, it was great to have efficient air-con too. Patty made us feel really welcome and was a lovely host.

The house is exactly as described by Patty. She was amazing and available at anytime. The place was peaceful and the view from the dining room was priceless. The beach was beautiful and quiet. Neighborhood was nice and friendly. The water was crystal clear during my staying, the first day that I got there the water wasn't that clear but the day after it cleared up and it stayed like that until the day I left. We stayed for two weeks, and I did enjoy every moment of it. I would go back again.

This property is exactly as described. Patty's rental is immaculate and beautifully landscaped. It had everything necessary for our stay. We found it quiet and relaxing when we were there mid-week. Rocky Point's streets are rather winding near the beach and some sort of GPS is essential. Beach access is convenient. We used the rental as a base for exploring and it was within an hour of almost everywhere on the eastern half of L.I. Patty was very friendly and helpful. We had absolutely no problems but would have felt very comfortable calling her with any questions.

First off the house was very clean, very cozy and the view was amazing. When I showed up and my friends showed up we were all amazed of how nice the place was. Everything we needed for the stay was easily available. Patty was very nice and very helpful, she provided us with all the information we needed and made sure our stay was exceptional. If I go back to LI for a weekend or a week off I will definitely try to rent this place again. Couldn't have asked for a better place or a better weekend!!!!

Our first time on eastern Long Island - the trip out from the hectic pace of NYC slowly turns from urban to beautiful parkland, finally ending at quaint Rocky Point LI. The home is easy to get to from the highway, and once there we were greeted by the wonderful breezes off Long Island sound moving through the leaves of the property's many old shade trees. The owner, Patty greeted us with high energy effervescence and walked us through her charming vacation home. Big windows overlook the water through the trees from the dining room and kitchen, while the living room and front porch entice the traveler into a lazy summer nap before heading out. The beach is only a 3 minute walk from the front door and the crystal clear waters beckon for a swim before a walk down the beach. A beautiful sunset sets the tone for the rest of the evening - best enjoyed while relaxing on the beach. Each night we eschewed the A/C in favor of opening the windows, enjoying the breezes and rustling of leaves coming in from the sound. Close to many daytime activities, we simply did not have enough time for all the adventures nearby - and hope to return again and again!
