We visit this restaurant frequently - every 2-3 weeks and last night we ran onto their new menu and new practices. The menu proces went up - a couple of dollars here and there. That's Ok, it's the way life is, but the restaurant also cut back on what they give you. Specifically, a salad no longer comes with the dinner specials (nor other full dinners). The menu indicates that a house salad is an additional $7.95 (this was free a couple of weeks ago!). The waitress, on the QT, after we looked flabbergasted, said that we could get a version of the house salad that didn't have bacon and was not on the menu, $4.95. We then queried as to whether we could have some bread. We were told that bread was now served only upon request. It is one thing to raise theprice, but it really seamed that they took too much away in additional to the raised price. If I am going to pay the new prices I am first going to explore what else is out there at that price point for a long time before I return.
