Hotel room was excellent, except for 1) the lack of a microwave and 2) wireless internet access costs $9.95 a day. Cleanliness is excellent, bed and pillows very comfortable, and no noise from outside the room disturbed our sleep.
Self-parking is a bit inconvenient, as the garage is in a different building and arriving at night it was tricky to find the way to the hotel.
Staff is very friendly and helpful; my child was sick and they rushed upstairs to help and made sure all was right before leaving the room, and again at checkout time.
Our visit was cut short this time, but when we come back we will definitelly try to stay at the Hyatt.

I recently stayed at the Hyatt. It was not listed on the bedbug registry. The staff was accommodating, room was comfortable, breakfast excellent (except coffee), upgraded to a AAA package with breakfast included. As an individual who travels in a power chair, I should have been directed to the third floor of the parking garage where there is a ramp for access.

This hotel is beautifully updated, with excellent service. The front desk doesn't really feel like a front desk as it seems small and the clerks all have laptops sitting on a raised counter. But the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The bar/restaurant is very overpriced, but the food and service is good. The sky-way lets you get to the convention center without going outside, which is nice because downtown is a ghost town on weekends and evenings, except for homeless people asking for cigarettes or change. There are only a couple options for dinner, with a few more for lunch. So great if you have to come for a convention, but for just a visit, I'd recommend staying somewhere outside of downtown.

We were traveling with a group and the hotel was sold out, but yet we were treated with respect and much caring by everyone we encountered.
We found the lounge staff to be particularly friendly and helpful. They seemed sincerely glad to see us and remember us.
No complaints at all from our entire group.
Thankyou Hyatt!

Room Tip: One thing that impressed me was that the non-smoking rooms had NO hint of smoke smell. The Hyatt tak...

I stayed at the Hyatt in Rochester while attending a conference at the hotel, convention center and Radisson. The three facilities together are everything you need for a terrific conference. I love the fact that you can walk from the covered parking garage to all of the facilities by way of sky ways - so you don't have to go outside and face the Rochester weather. The hotel was very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful - they really try to make you happy. In the hotel room, would like to have a magnifying mirror (as the regular mirror is a bit far for makeup application.) The convention food was very well done - both the Hyatt and the Radisson are outstanding in this area. I ate three meals at the restaurant - I thought the breakfast buffet was quite good. Not too pricey ($16) for the buffet with everything. For lunch, the panini with goat cheese and avocado was fantastic. I really didn't like the Mediterranean sandwich. If you have young children with you, definitely go to the Strong Museum of Play! What a wonderful place. My biggest complaint: the elevators in the connecting parking garage were either broken or slow. Otherwise, a great place to stay!

The free airport shuttle is a nice feature, had to wait 35 min. on it, but hey, it's free. Front desk staff is friendly, rooms were clean and quite, beds are comfortable. Close to arena and restaurants. Just don't eat in the hotel restaurant unless you have to. Did not enjoy either of my 2 meals eaten in the hotel restaurant. One bad meal might be a fluke, but 2?
