Went into Balsam Bagels a few weeks ago- (Went in there EVERY weekend) But apparently this didnt matter when I walked in with a debit card this time. They ONLY want cash if your not buying more than 5.00 worth of product.
- I bought 3 bagels (Usually buy a Dozen- But I was leaving for vacation and didnt want tones of Bagels around the house before I left) and I gave the girl (That I have seen there for a year now) my debit card. She said "You need to buy more at least 5 dollars" She said "Just buy more Bagels" REALLY? I said can you just take my card for the 3.00 Dollars? She said "No cant do it"
I asked again- and said I really only need 3 dollars worth. Again "No cant do it"
- Im in there so much- Have spent so much money there- and they were only concerned with the .5% Mastercard was going to charge them for using their card machine. IS THIS A REASON TO LOOSE A CUSTOMER THAT HAS BEEN GOING THERE FOR YEARS??
So I left with nothing- and I also left and havent returned. This is no way to treat loyal customers. Business 101.
