Our collector's group arranged for us to visit the Museum during a free period before our meetings began. Although quite close to downtown, the museum is on a pleasant campus and offers free parking (this is a big plus). But the biggest surprise of all was the excellence of the exhibits and their well-done interactive features. Although we were just two senior citizens without much desire to partake of the interactive features, we felt that the museum would be quite fascinating to young children (from perhaps 8 years old on up to the early teens). Every exhibit we saw was beautifully done and well maintained. The interactive features were quite engaging and provided a good deal of simple but interesting information. If you're in Rochester with young kids and some time to spare, bring the kids here.
