This is one of those places you can't get into because everybody thinks its wonderful. I've have probably a dozen meals there in the last 5 years. All of them were OK. I like my sauce better. Seafood is done right & the pasta is pretty good. It's just NOT THAT wonderful. Sorry.

Went this past weekend and was disappointed in the quality of the food. Ordered artichokes french and the portion was very small for the money. Also seemed to wait quite a bit of time to even get them while the table next to us was getting free appetizers and extras such as meat sauce on their pasta. I guess you have to be a regular to get better service and be comped. Ordered chicken marsala and have had much better. The chicken marsala was loaded with what seemed like canned mushrooms. I love mushrooms but it was almost too much. The food was not the same as it used to be. Not sure if they have a new chef. We used to go there a lot in the past and things were better. Haven't been able to get there recenty until now. Because of our experience, I'm not sure we will return anytime soon. There are other places to get great Italian food especially on the east side of town.

Went in for an impromtu dinner last evening and they were busy as usual. We were told it would be a few short minutes for a table. It turned out to be 35 minutes which was ok because we weren't pressed for time but they still should have tried to be a bit more accurate with their estimation. Several more parties came in after us and were sat before us. That being said, the food is always amazing and portions are large. The atmosphere is very comfortable considering the fact that they pack you in like sardines, but I am Italian and thats how we like it. I will definately go back.

Rarely eating at a bar you'd have fresh tasting Italian food. But this restaurant offers it. Although it does have restaurant seating inside. Friendly bartender, and it looks like a friendly neighborhood joint as many knew each other as they came in and out.

met friends who raved about this little place. had drinks before sitting down. a lot of fokkjs seemes to know each other but it didn't matter. people were very friendly, and the drinks were good.

three of the four really liked their meal. apprtizers were very good, soup was decent, and they did a great job seasonaing. the linguine and clams red, not so good, tasted like the sauce was a little smoky, and the clams were beat up. the rest of the food looked and tasted real good. the desserts were very nice, but nothing to rave about. i'd go back, we had alot of fun. but i'd order something else.
