“Star show needs updating”
Reviewed August 23, 2012

I loved coming here on school trips so took my 2 boys for a show for ages 5 to 7. We were not impressed. Maybe it can't compete with modern animation, etc or maybe some other shows are more modern. The science exhibits outside the theatre were interesting enough while we waited.

“Would go back”
Reviewed August 11, 2012

The exhibits were very interesting but the movie "Ring of Rire" was amazing. Unfortunately we didn't get to see any of the star shows, but I am sure they would be great. Seating was very comfortable,

We were there on a combination ticket with the museum.

“Real Stars and More!”
Reviewed August 6, 2012

This 200+seat modern planetarium is associated with the Rochester Museum and Science Center. It runs several public "star shows" on a regular basis for folks of all ages, as well as a variety of multi-media movies shown on the big dome. Later on Saturday evenings they break out the laser and do laser light shows on the dome set to classic rock music for the adults. Once a month, if the weather permits, the observatory on the roof is open to the public and you can get some great views through the telescopes.
