A wonderful family trip with lots of opportunities to enjoy the lake, beautiful views and wonderful hiking trails. Picnic areas are clean and abundant throughout the park. My advice on weekends is to come early....it can get crowded.

“Great place to take the family.”
Reviewed August 18, 2013 via mobile

Had a great day here. Walk many trails with our kids and dogs. Plenty of parking and fishy smell at the beach. Lots of friendly people and picnics. Police presence helps keep things in line. Lots of boats pulled up to the beach. Very good time today.

“Lakeside beauty”
Reviewed August 8, 2013

Long beach wit plenty of parking. However, it can be very dirty and a bit of a walk down steep hills in some spots. A very interesting golf course which could be one of the better layouts if they had enough money to get it up to its potential. A kinds of hidden picnic spots. Pretty lake views from some spots.

“A Beautiful Park”
Reviewed July 31, 2013

Not only does it border Lake Ontario with Beach swimming, it has some of the oldest trees in Rochester. Donated by George Eastman to the County, it has Walking trails, places to picnic, swim & just relax. It is a bring your own trash bag Park, so please help us keep it clean! Breathtaking!!!!

“A real gem!”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

This is an amazing, under-utilized park. There are wild trails to hike through woods and around the lakes (not particularly well marked), great areas along Lake Ontario with decent beach and access to the water, rugged terrain, and arboretum. Trees are especially beautiful in the spring and fall.
