It's a small museum, but some really great shows.

“A Good Summary of World Art”
Reviewed January 7, 2012

Want someplace more compact and digestible than massive big city art museums, then this comfortable and approachable gallery is right for you. You'll find some unexpected gems as well.

“Small, excellent gallery”
Reviewed January 6, 2012

The gallery is small but has a very good collection of local and American artists. The medieval art and the Italian organ on the second floor are well worth the visit. The organ is used for intimate concerts performed by Eastman students and other masters. Try lunch at Max's at the gallery: wonderful food, great service and affordable.

“go when there is a special show or exhibit”
Reviewed January 3, 2012

I find it quite boring at times...so I like going when there is a new show or room....I find it quite the expensive; there is a small cafe; and the wonderful(expensive) gift shop....
