“Primo movie theater”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2013

The Little has 5 screens and usually it is hard to choose among the films. They recently upgraded to digital.

There is a cafe with jazz in the evenings, as well as a snack bar with unusual goodies.

“A Unique Night Out”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2013

The Little Theatre is the perfect place to take your date for a unique night out. For example, my wife and I were able to hang out in the cafe and have a beer before going to see a movie we were both really looking forward to seeing, that wasn't being shown in our local major movie theaters.

“Great films you won't see elsewhere, especially foreign films”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 20, 2013

This is a 5 screen theater but it is not your average movie theater. The movies are films you won't usually see elsewhere and some marvelous films and film festivals. I love to go for the French films but also wonderful films that aren't picked up by the commercial theaters. They also do film festivals. They have a nice cafe after 5pm for light meals-there is quite a selection, also wine, some great desserts and music on the weekends. They are renovating the theaters at this time with updated seats and walls. They just switched to digital. The people are nice and the audiences are actually quiet so you can hear the movie! I love this place.

“Great movies, decent cafe, yummy popcorn!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 19, 2013

We lived in Rochester for 2 years and "The Little" was always top of our list. It isn't like your crazy multiplex with all the usual blockbuster films, it is so much better than that showing independant movies.
The cafe is really good with great value for money and you can grab just a coffee and cake of a glass of wine and a meal.
The service at The Little was always excellent and should we ever find ourselves back in Rochester, it will be one of the first places we visit.

“Saw Twenty Feet from Stardom”

Loved the audience--mainly an older crowd. Loved the upscale treats. There is popcorn and pop, but they also have carrot cake and brownies. Yum.
