I am a Brownie Girl Scout leader, and looking for a fun outing that also aligned with our chosen journey for the year. I didn't have to look any farther than our own Seneca Park Zoo. The zoo has undergone many changes and additions over the last 10 years and has a variety of animals from all parts of the world. The educational programs are quite good, the staff is excellent and they are so knowledgeable about children in addition to the zoo animals. The staff can handle questions of all sorts while managing a room full of kids. Great job and well worth the $10 per scout price which includes admission to the zoo, tour with a guide and special program with guide.

Thought the price was a little high for a small city zoo. Good for the kids. Take in the park at the end of the road.

Always a pleasure to go to the zoo, its family freindly, the animals are bueatiful and well taken care of. grounds are clean and well mantained. The Seneca park Zoo has come along way from what it used to look like.

I did not agress with other reviewers at all. We were there 2 hours. Kids ages 9 and 12. Lots to see and read. Staff is EVERYWHERE answering questions and giving history and lessons throughout the park. Food is available and reasonablely prices.

Visited there on a long weekend at the end of May. It was our first time at the zoo. It is a great size and has a nice variety of animals. Only about 50-60% of they animals were out though. The baboons were fun to watch as were several of the other monkeys. We only saw two elephants, but since the enclosure it huge we expected more. Nice paved walkways and not too hilly, except for near the back. Greta way to spend a few hours.
