Love the atmosphere and love the food. The wine is a bit pricey but they have a two for one night. It's the best thing that happened to the neighborhood!

After going several times, we've concluded that the sides & appetizers make the trip worthwhile, but the entrees consistently fail to live up to expectations. The atmosphere is cozy and historically intriguing and the bar is great. Definitely good for appetizers & drinks with friends.

Just the setting alone is pretty cool, former firehouse and all. We have been there about 5 times, and the food is pretty darn good. The burgers and the pasta dishes stand out. Its the kind of place that feels intimate and comfortable.

Great food at reasonable price. Loved the building and the decorations of the fire house.
Service was a bit slow not too sure if it was the server or the kitchen staff.

Top five positive comments:
1. It's an old firehouse - fun atmosphere especially if you're a first responder.
2. A good selection of beer and nice bar area.
3. The fried pickles were the perfect side to my steak sandwich.
4. Waitress was accommodating but a little slow.
5. Quiet place for lunch, busy bar for Friday night.

Top five negatives:
1. Freaking cold in April. I needed to wear my jacket in the restaurant.
2. Meals were slow coming being that we were one of the five parties there.
3. No music in the background that I could recall.
4. Two young waitresses were like Siamese twins attached at the hip over patrolling the dining area probably for training but it was distracting.
5. An older patron was walking around the restaurant, lost apparently which is really odd because there's only one huge room. I felt like a first responder watching her instead of enjoying my meal.
