I was extremely impressed with the docents' knowledge and enthusiasm for their subject. This is a great home to tour...you won't be disappointed. So many historical events happened in the various rooms and I'm wondering why Spielberg hasn't made a movie here with Susan B. Anthony as the star!

The tour was very good and the staff was VERY FRIENDLY! We enjoyed listing to the history of Susan B Anthony. What an incredible woman! Take the time to go to the house. It is not in the best of neighborhoods but people know why you are coming and nobody bothers you.

One has to appreciate the time, money and love that has gone into maintaining this fine, modest home over the years. It has expanded so there are frequent lectures and meetings; all in keeping with the idea of equal rights to which Susan B. devoted her life. The home is clean, well kept, and perfect for transporting visitors back to 1872 when Susan B was arrested for voting. Great to take kids to make history real to them.
Rochester has such a rich history of advancing equality for everyone, and this home makes it possible to pass down that history to the new generations.
