I frequent Romeo's and I have never had a less-than excellent experience there. The food is great as is the service. Don't overlook the wood-fired pizzas or the artichokes French appetizer.

It's always a very pleasant surprise when you go into a restaurant and all of your expectations are exceeded. That's the way it was during our visit to Romeo's Restaurant at the end of October. We chose Romeo's because we were both in the mood for wood-fired pizza that evening. This was our first visit there and we really didn't know what to expect, so we kept our expectations reasonable. Upon arriving at the restaurant, we were seated immediately and our very pleasant server, Amber, appeared shortly after that with menus. She described the numerous dinner specials and then left to get our drinks. She returned with our beverages a couple of minutes later, took our dinner order, and then headed off towards the kitchen. She reappeared a few minutes later with a basket of warm, fresh bread, then excused herself and headed off to wait on some other customers. In what seemed like less than 10 minutes later, our server arrived at our table with our pizza and salad, asked if we needed anything else, then excused herself and then headed off to wait on other customers. They offer only one size pizza (8 slices). Even though the pizza would be considered a "small" size by most people, it contained enough food for our hungry appetites. The perfectly baked thin-crust pizza was very flavorful, delicious, and spicy without being overbearing. The sauce was plentiful and had a definite presence with tremendous flavor. Thin crust, crisp not soggy, and plenty of flavor and spice. All around, some surprisingly good thin-crust pizza. Our server checked back with us two or three times during our dinner to ask how our meal was and to refill our beverages. We had a very pleasant, really delicious dinner with some truly awesome service without ever feeling rushed. Our server, Amber, was everything you hope your server will be, but you don't always get. She was incredible. The restaurant atmosphere and menu are a bit upscale without being pretentious so it works for any occasion; singles, couples, families, or business. Our total check including pizza, salad, and beverages (with free refills) was well under $20. I'm happy to say that everything was perfect without any problems or disappointments. We're definitely going back to Romeo's soon because I've got to try their lasagna next time. Enjoy!
