Nightmare front end staff more interested in her friends than helping guests, the room was malodorous and the coffee was old. Sorry - not the place for me.

The front desk staff was warm and welcoming. The breakfast was wonderful, the room was comfy, clean and well appointed.

Room Tip: Our group had five rooms and they were all very nice, clean, and comfy.

We stayed at this location to be centrally located to visit both north and south forks of LI and because there are very limited choices. The price is a bit high in my opinion. This is a relatively new property and well maintained. However, the rooms were not as well equipped as other HI Express properties (no refrigerator, no clock, etc.) and the parking was horrible. Tractor trailers were allowed to take up a large part of the available parking and when we complained we were told to use the last handicapped parking spot or park in the appliance store lot adjacent. The pool was not usable beause it is not heated. Overall, our stay was peasant enough, but the management is not tuned into customer needs. I would grudgingly stay again because of convenience and limited choices.

The hotel was a comfortable place to stay, room nicely laid out - we stayed in a slightly larger room/suite. The free breakfast include omelettes, cereal, pancakes, coffee etc. The only negative was that during the day, on the weekend, we could hear the sounds of what must have been a nearby racetrack. All in all a nice place to stay and a nice place to stay. The staff behind the front desk was very helpful.

Accomodations are clean and comfortable.............however 2 improvements are much needed. First, the keycard system was a source of aggravation for our entire stay, we had 3 rooms and the cards needed to be constantly re-set by the front desk........not just one room but all three rooms. A couple staying in the room next to ours could not get into their room after a wedding and had to be given another room for the night........we met them in the AM still dressed from the wedding the night before!! Come on Holiday Inn Sr. Management!! Listen to your own maintenance staff who are just as frustrated as us......Find a keyless entry system that's reliable.
Secondly, there is not nearly enough patio furniture poolside for the number of guests at this hotel......3 lounge chairs and two tables with umbrellas??
