“Fun Atmosphere”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 20, 2013

We had fun wine tasting at Martha Clara. They have a wide variety of wines, especially if you like sweet wines, and their prices are very reasonable. The servers were very nice and it was great having the live music. Makes a for a fun time!!!

“Live Music and Wine”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 15, 2013

My friends and I specifically chose to visit Martha Clara because of their live music event. Although the music wasn't anything "grand" it definitely added to the environment and atmosphere as one made their way around the main room trying to find a seat. Round 8 seat tables were occupied by families, small groups, people just kicking it back with wine and enjoying the scene. Dancers around, recycle bins at every corner. One might think if you were at a frat or sorority party for the middle-aged.

Outside food is not allowed in the main hall- which is a bummer because there are so many wonderful farms on the north fork. If the weather were a bit warmer, a picnic table would have been no objection. They do serve food- from snacks to something hearty like sandwiches, wraps, and baked goods.

The gift shop looks somewhat out-dated, but then again the music notes were as well. Martha Clara, has a wonderful selection of wine to suit every -taste. This is one of the smaller vineyards, but the grounds are well kept, and it's small and intimate for small gatherings or a place to sit back and take in the scenery.

My friends and I bought a bottle of Viogner which was recommended by the numerous signs all over the winery. It was alright, but not great or spectacular to want to a bottle home. Something are better left for that moment and time.

“Great local winery”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 22, 2013

Wine tasting room is large and rustic. Stall is very friendly and helpful. Some of my favorite local wine, try the Melange Au Trios. Excellent. Grounds are beautiful and they always have something happening. Special events year round, even comedy nights. Great in the warm weather to let the kids visit with the resident animals.

“Weekend Fun!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 9, 2013

Great vineyard - one of the larger tasting rooms with very knowledgeable staff. Live music on the weekends, bands are great, and so are the wines! Come for a few hours, have some wind and food (they have several lunch/snack options), enjoyable afternoon.

“what a great find”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 24, 2013

We stopped there to have a custom basket made for a gift, not knowing what else was there. it's adorable atmosphere, the restaurant had live great music, and you could do wine tasting too. it was too December so the wagon rides and other outside activities were not available. definitely going back!
