Had dinner at Dark Horse Restaurant with family of four. Chose this restaurant on a whim! They had live music on a Saturday night - Dee Myers was performing and she was great! In addition to the vibrant atmosphere, the wait service was excellent. Menu varied from salads and soups to local fish specials and pates. Fabulous espresso to top it off! Clean restrooms and friendly service. Would definitely return for a future meal. Families are welcome but I think the menu would cater more towards teenagers than the under 10 crowdl. Lively bar crowd but friendly.

Went there last night service with Sonja was great the food was amazing and loved the live music it was not too loud. The place has a Manhattan quality to it. What was also nice is you can catch the game on tv if you want.

Attended a party here last week and it was a very subpar experience. The room was physically cold, poorly decorated and uninviting. The food was nasty, just terrible! Chips and onion dip, celery poor veggie dip were served for a restaurant party. The food was poor quality and nasty, which is inexcusable. Other appetizers were not identifiable or eatable. I have dined at Tweeds, so was looking forward to a lovely evening at Dark Horse but after this party, I would not waste my time nor money giving them a second try. All of my friends felt the same, which is a shame as it was a great opportunity for the restaurant to court new diners/customers.

Lovely restaurant that has the best clam chowder! Lunch is as little as $9.00 for a very filling luncheon.
