What a great hotel! Super close to the outlets and wine country, not very close to great restaurants. The room was great and the front desk was very nice. Even the restaurant at the hotel, which I normally never eat at, was very good.

I just like the vibe of this hotel. From the welcoming entrance/lobby to the rooms, this property is on a different level than the usual corporate hotels on this part of Long Island. Everything is clean and in order and the staff welcoming.

I stayed on the second floor and had no problems with the heat, so I am unsure what the other reviewer below was talking about. I was upgraded to a two room suite as a Platinum Ambassador which was appreciated. The two separate areas allowed me to conduct business in the living room which was a big plus.

Although there is no free breakfast and bottled water is not complimentary in the rooms (unlike the Hyatt a couple of miles down the road), I look forward to staying at this property. The floors in the room are not hardwood, but rather a costly vinyl which has the appearance of wood. There is a large flat screen television in the bedroom (and living room of the suite). Bathrooms have a spa-like feel and the toiletires are Aveda products. The ambiance is pleasant and the staff very friendly. I had dinner at the onsite restaurant, Bistro 72 , during a previous stay, and found the service somewhat slow and the menu limited.

The proximity to Tanger Outlets is a plus for those who like to shop. The drive to the Hamptons from the hotel is approximately half an hour. The drive from midtown to the hotel is about 1 hour.

No hotel is perfect and the pluses far outweigh the minuses. I would recommend the hotel for those looking for a weekend getaway (the pool area is nice and would be great during the summer). It is also appropriate for those traveling on business with a business center and small gym.

Room Tip: Poolside rooms with a patio would be nice during the summer months.

I stayed at Hotel Indigo after my friend's wedding, as she had a room block booked here. The rooms were clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Prices were a bit high, but considering the lack of accommodation in the area, they win!

Overall we had a great stay, and enjoyed hanging out in the hotel bar/lounge after the reception.

I was recently married and had the reception of a lifetime at Hotel Indigo. From start to finish everything you would want to go right, DID! The staff made all that attended (150 guests) feel special and they bent over backwards to make this a very special event. The food was delicious and top rate! We had numerous "out of town" guests that stayed at the hotel and they all raved about the cleanliness and the service of the staff. The rooms were comfortable and all the quests were very impressed with quality of the food in the restaurant. I would highly recommend this hotel for those that are on business or pleasure; what a great place to stay!!

I was so aggravated that I picked a hotel so far from New York City. So I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into the Hotel Indigo. The service wasn't ridiculously friendly - it was genuine, quick, and to the point. I was fully expecting the same old icky hotel room, but was again thrilled to open the door to a freshly decorated, clean, wood-floored room, with the feel of a really nice guest room in a friend's home. TIP - the food is expensive, but the waitstaff is just fantastic. They're the type you want to stay in touch with after your stay! And NYC...hop the train, enjoy the New Yorkers, and take in some interesting views. Totally worth it.

Room Tip: I stayed on the first floor down a long crooked hallway just outside of the firepit area. Very pretty.
