“Great Italian restaurant”
Reviewed August 19, 2013

One of our favorite places to eat in Rhinebeck; and there are lots of options. Have probably eaten there at least 100 times, only once can I remember not liking a meal. Their skizzas are great. Lots of times we split one s an appetizer before a meal, but a skizzas and a salad make a great light meal. For pastas thetagliateele Berta and rigatoni butters are two of my favorites. Though my wife had the lasagna the other night and loved it. We aren't real big eaters so we usually get the smaller size. Their daily specials usually have something interesting; if they have soft shelled crabs on the menu, get it. My favorite wine is the Zaccagnini Montepulciano, a great red and moderately priced. We usually sit outside in good weather and people watch.

“Excellent Bistro”
Reviewed August 4, 2013

After a long day of travel and a very late lunch, my sister and I decided to have a few of their appetizers. We were able to sit outside on a lovely July evening. We ordered the Salume, Formaggi and the Rughetta salad, all of which I highly recommend. In addition, the waitstaff was knowledgable about wine selections and attentive to all of our needs.

“Tasty Italian - great thin crust pizza”
Reviewed July 7, 2013

Lovely Italian eatery with a varied menu. The thin crust pizzas are excellent and make a great shareable appetizer. I had the salmon which was cooked to perfection. Friends had the chicken and the sole and all were pleased.

“An Experience Like No Other!”
Reviewed July 6, 2013

My husband and I have visited many gourmet restaurants from New York City to the Catskills. Nothing even comes close to Gigi's. The service, food, drinks and ambiance are like no other. We have been there many times and the food is always excellent and consistent. This is "THE GEM" in the Hudson Valley! Don't miss the opportunity if it arises. The Gigi Market in Red Hook Agriturismo Dinner is also an event not to miss.

“Our favorite restaurant in the area!”
Reviewed July 5, 2013

We've been coming to Gigi's regularly for over 3 years and we're never disappointed. We're a family of 4 and this is by far our favorite place in this area. Terrific service (competent and consistently welcoming) and hardly any turnover it all our time here (unlike many of the other places in town). The food is fresh, inventive and changes seasonly. It's hard to go past the signature 'skizzas' (skinny pizza) with the Bianca a personal favorite (ricotta, fig jam, arugula, pear and truffle oil!) Our boys love the mussels and the classic Italian pastas with the tagliatelle and beef ragu particularly good. My husband can't go past the soft shell crab (seasonal starter) and then the whole trout. An outdoor table with a glass of Rosé is the perfect start to a summer evening at Gigi's and we'll keep coming!
