It is difficult not to gush with superlatives about this little jewel of a restaurant. Just the type of dining experience you seek out on vacation (or otherwise). Attentive and knowledgeable staff, dishes that showcase the chef's deft hand from seafood to homemade pasta, feels like a Paris bistro with a caring touch. The terrain with roasted garlic and goat cheese an airy and sumptuous appetizer, the bouillabaisse beautifully excited and enough for two meals, the gnocchi light with a n unexpected pork shoulder (better reheated the next day), the salmon acclaimed by our friend to be the best she had ever eaten. Desserts should not be missed, even if you are not a dessert person. These treats compete with the culinary skills of the chef. Though sated from dinner, we selected a box of macaroons and tarts for the long ride home (3.5 hours) with the hopes of freezing them for another occasion. Of course, we gobbled down every moist crumb before we hit the PA state line. We only wish we lived closer. Thank you for reminding us of what an excellent meal can be, served with care and without a daunting price tag.
