“Best in Rhinebeck”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 24, 2013

With a daughter at Bard, we've been exploring the surrounding town for good restaurants for occasional family dinners and just tried Arielle. We went for an early Sunday dinner and were surprised to see many other diners at 5:00. After enjoying our meal, we knew why. This place is the best in town. Food was top notch. Service and ambiance were best in class. Among the four of us we had a beet salad, an arugula pear salad, feather light gnocchi, perfectly seasoned moules provencale, a big juicy cheese burger and the lemon tart which was like a lemon merengue pie with a thicker cake-like crust. I would recommend every dish. Even the coffee was rich and flavorful. Enjoy!

“Fabulous!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 7, 2013

Recently had a chance to dine with friends at Arielle Restaurant in historic Rhinebeck Village. The atmosphere is cozy (tables are a little "tight" but that shouldn't keep you away). The evening entre special was Cod served with Mussels with a beurre blanc sauce! Lovely presentation, and an ample portion. The mussels were sweet and tender and the cod cooked to perfection! Our waitress was spot on! Attentive without being intrusive. A great skill for a "younger" waitress. She really knew her menu and the background information on various entre prep, and was well acquainted with the wine selections. If you are in Rhinebeck, make sure you don't miss Arielle Restaurant!

“A touch of France in the Hudson Valley”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 5, 2013 via mobile

Wife and I visit Rhinebeck several times each year, but this was our first time at Arielle. We will definitely be going back.

We both had the 3-course luncheon special. Veggie soup was delightful - hot, lots of veggies and flavorful. Wife had the salmon and greens - she's not very adventuresome and found this regular (for her) choice excellent. I had the lamb sausage in ragatelle which was rich and with just a hint of spice. Deserts were excellent.

Portions are not large - given the modest price, that's fine. But the overall quality of the food, and the ambience, made the experience delightful.
