In season, Holy Cow in Red Hook, NY is the most popular place in the town. The line winds out the door and into the parking lot for the better part of any summer evening. It is located across the road from the Lyceum Theater complex and so is most crowded after shows. The best time to get there is shortly after 5:00 pm before the movies begin and while people are still eating dinner or attending games. I think every sports team in the area must go to Holy Cow after a game. The ice cream and frozen yogurt are fantastic and you only have to taste once to understand their popularity. I don't exactly live nearby but I always find its worth the trip. Highly recommended.
