I saw a groupon for this place and thought why not. The pictures on this site and the inn's own site look nice enough and the reviews were okay. We stayed for 2 nights and will not go back nor recommend it. The place is extremely dated and although that is not my style I understand some appreciate it. This is dated and dirty. Look at my pictures taken without fancy cameras, lenses, or photo retouching. The front door of the main house was open letting in a million flies and other bugs. I ended up with more mosquito bits from inside than outside. I wore my flip flops in the shower as I was afraid to get a fungus. There was mold on the ceiling and around the tubs. I have stayed in better motel 6's for a fraction of the cost. The owners were okay. She seemed personable at first but was very nosy and was talking very disrespectful to a Mexican cleaning lady and her children that ran the house all the time and maybe live there. She was also speaking badly about a couple that had stayed there and checked put and I thought that was rude. He just seemed shifty to me and I never felt comfortable or trusting around him. The amazing breakfast I was expecting- a total bust. It was gross and cold and both mornings I resorted to yogurt. They have a chicken coup in the back that as you ate sitting at breakfast you hear and SMELL them. Gross! There is another bed and breakfast down the street that I have has friends stay at and live. Wish I took their advice!!
