Red Hook is my hometown and after being away from it for 8 years, I was happy to find this gem that has recently popped up. It is nicely located right in the center of town. We went there to catch up with friends for the holidays and enjoyed some Block 9 Pinot Noir, a lovely riesling, and some Peekskill Brewery IPA. We also enjoyed some smoked duck proscuitto (amazing), pancetta (also amazing), and delicious robiola and camembert cheese served on wooden boards. The service was perfect, setting us up with water immediately upon seating. The attendants the bar were extremely knowledgeable about each choice of wine, charcuterie, and cheese and how to properly pair them. Everything was delicious. They also had a local band start to play at 7pm and they were perfect for the ambiance of Bread and Bottle. Light acoustic, slightly folky, laid back and really enjoyable.

I look forward to visiting again!
