We came with 15 yr old girl and 10 yr old boy. We only did the waterpark not the hotel. The hotel is expensive even with the tickets included. Bad news: even parents not participating have to fork up the $45 entrance fee there is no spectator pricing. Also because the kids are on winter break they did not offer the after 4 deal for $25. They should have ride by the hour because after 3 hours my kids were ready to go. If you are sensitive to chlorine stay away! The smell of the chlorine burns eyes and throats even not going under water. Also the free drink deal is not that great of a deal. They make you wait every half hour to get refill with bar code so get what you like! This was my son's 10th birthday present so it was a great fit for him but older teens would get bored quickly. As an adult the slides are dark tubes that make me sick and the lazy river gets boring after a while. The wait was long for the three bigger slides which total20-30 seconds of thrill.

My family had a great time at the lodge. My children are 2 and 5 and there really is something for everyone. From the little kid area to the family water slide, it's a blast. I highly recommend going. We went with family and friends which made it that much better. I will definitely be going back.

This was our second trip to the lodge and waterpark. We were really looking forward to it, but it was not as we expected. Three familes (6 adults and 6 children) shared one of the largest suites - the sofa bed was broken, one of the hairdryers didn't work, the microwave plate didn't rotate and there was food left in the refrigerator. The waterpark was cold and the lines for checking in and out were very long. The lodge was crowded and noisy - it was hard to sleep.

Absolutely gorgeous lodge! Went mainly for waterpark with our daughter. Great rides and had a ton of fun Room was very nice, but dimly lit. Only problem was that the free wifi kept going in and out and disconnecting. Kids club was great and very nice staff. Johnny rockets food was average at best. Lodge is overpriced on some days of the week, but would like to go back again.

Though our children had a great time, we expected more. The pull out sofa required new sheets the evening we arrived as they were full of crumbs, and appeared not to have been changed from the previous guests. The meal at Johnny Rockets took exceptionally long and was average/overpriced at best. The breakfast buffet overlooking the park was simply not worth the money; would recommend eating out or bringing breakfast to eat in the room. Finally, the water park seems to need some serious maintenance. We noticed a lot of rust, worn wood and outdated bathrooms/changing rooms. Food selections poolside were unhealthy, and overpriced - they didn't have any bottled water available. On the upside, the staff was very helpful, and quickly accommodated requests.

Room Tip: Aovid rooms above the garbage dumpsters. We were woken at 5 am to the very loud sound of them being emptied. We suspected as much when arriving at the room, but already had one room change due to the noise from an "adjoining" room we were initially given.
