“you won't leave hungry”
Reviewed November 30, 2013

This is a great place for lunch or breakfast. Excellent quality and plenty for even the heartiest appetite. Recently added made on premises apple cider donuts is a great addition. You can even find great, unique gifts. This is a family owned business located in an authentic barn and silo.

“So good we went there for breakfast AND lunch”
Reviewed November 23, 2013

We really just wanted to visit the country store, but ended up getting some breakfast. The biscuits and sausage gravy turned out to be a wonderful surprise! It was rich as it was supposed to be, but not heavy, just the right hearty meal I needed before going hiking. After we ate, we visited the country store adjacent to the restaurant and it had a lot of cute stuff, most of which your typical "general store" merchandise but still, we found some really special souvenirs. And because the food was so good, we decided to stop by again for lunch before heading back to NYC. This time I got the chicken quesadilla and the portion was huge and it was delicious! The salsa had a really nice fruity flavor to it which I couldn't pinpoint but it was very refreshing. We also got some sweet potato fries with their raspberry ketchup which was something different and quite tasty. Overall this was one of the best restaurant/general stores we've been to and we highly recommend it!

“Great food, great service”
Reviewed November 14, 2013

We have visited the Silo several times. We have found the food and the selection to be very good, and the service friendly and prompt. The portions are also generous and the ambience is fun. All in all, a very satisfying experience. We shall return.

“Glad we stopped”
Reviewed November 13, 2013

Friends recommended this restaurant and we were very glad they did.
The food was excellent, so was the service. Our server was friendly and helpful. Food was plentiful and fresh. They make their own potato chips which are the greatest. My husband had the sandwich that was what we would consider a Monte Cristo. He was very pleased. He said the cranberry sauce gave it just the right tang. I had the chicken salad. So fresh and the sandwich was huge. Very good value.
We were given the choice of sitting in the main area or the barn. We chose the barn and spent our lunch hour looking at the beautiful beams that if they were not original, they sure looked like they were.
The gift shop is worth the time to look around even if you are only browsing.
My husband plans on returning next year when he works Americade.

“Delicious breakfast in a rustic setting”
Reviewed October 21, 2013

We came here for breakfast based on the reviews and were not disappointed. It was fairly early on a Monday morning, and although there were plenty of customers, we didn't have to wait for a table. We sat in a booth in a small section that felt like it was in a barn stall, complete with wood rafters. My stuffed French toast with berries was delicious, and my husband enjoyed his egg dish with a side of biscuits and gravy. There were all kinds of country knick knacks and food items for sale in the store section. It felt like a more authentic version of a Cracker Barrel. If we lived in the area, we would definitely return.
