Ate there 2 times now & did'nt like it at all the last time. Waitress never asked how anything was. Too expensive for a small platter of 2 meatballs & some pasta. Sad bec. it was good the 1st time.

Have been to Cafe Lazio probably seven times since last year and find the food outstanding!!! For years have been trying to locate a restaurant, in Glens Falls, that has that homey feeling and of course good, hot food, and the fact that the restaurant is Italian is an added bonus.
This restaurant is BYOB, which is fine. The chef uses local ingredients when possible, and all of the entrees, and salads we have tried have been wonderful. Have yet not been able to eat dessert yet, since the portions are so generous.

This is one of the best values in Queensbury/Glens Falls/Lake George area you will find. Lunches are value priced and reasonable (around $6-$8). Dinners however are outstanding. He changes the specials daily and they are out of this world. Last night I had Lamb Shanks- WOW!. He makes all his own sauces and uses fresh veggies. The gravy was to die for! The Lamb Shank was also very tender and lean, more so than any restuarant I have been to. It was a nice portion of almost all 'usable' meat. I am a local and go often. Another thing is that in any pasta dish, he uses pasta that is imported from Italy. He makes his own desserts and they are yummy! The downside- somewhat small, but usually not too crowded. At Lunch, the food odors can transfer to the seating area, but are typically dissapated by late afternoon.
