Description: A 70 seat American-Fusion Restaurant, the only one in the area using truly local ingredients and changes thier menu every two weeks based on the availability of products. Both the beer menu and wine list are extensive and reasonable. As well one of the only restaurants that say if we don't have we will do our best to get it for your reservation.

“Interesting Menu, Fair Price, and Great Food”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

Friendly, attentive service, great cocktails, and wonderfully well prepared food. I particularly enjoyed the Pulpo. For a minute there, I thought I was enjoying some fine ding somewhere in the Mediterranean. Certainly the best meal I ever had in Poughkeepsie!

“Nice, Relaxed, slightly upscale little gem”
Reviewed October 13, 2013

We enjoyed eating at this restaurant. I am happy we got early reservations, as the place filled up rather quickly. There is an open concept kitchen, and the decor is nicely done, modern and clean. The food is high quality and they try to create a really nice, relaxed atmosphere. It is really a place to dine leisurely. The staff is attentive, but not at your table ever 4 minutes bothering you. They have a nice menu selection and bar menu as well.

“Still one of the best restaurants in the Hudson Valley”
Reviewed October 9, 2013 via mobile

I have been coming here for years and this is without a doubt one of the best restaurants in the area. The quality of the food, the attention to detail, the atmosphere and service are always good. It is great to still see this business putting out great consistent food time and time again. Anyone who hasn't tried this place is missing out.

“Very good food, great atmosphere”
Reviewed September 27, 2013

Poughkeepsie doesn't immediately come to mind as a foodie paradise. Or any kind of paradise, for that matter. However, having said that, The Artist's Palette is a really good restaurant! Very sophisticated menu, very upscale feeling without any pretensions. So it's a great menu, excellent food and a laid back feeling. We shared the honey-glazed salmon and the blackened tofu and both were excellent. The roasted brussel sprouts were good (but were not AS good as I had hoped, to be completely honest). Nice wine list and some reasonable options. Recommended!
