This is a beautiful opera house, newly renovated . I saw the Nutcracker here, last Christmas. Not a bad seat in the house, since the building is small, with a very intimate feel.

Landmark historical theatre. Excellent acoustics. Nice seating and overall decor. We had gone to see John Waters and this was a great venue in which to see him and his Christmas show.....very funny and excellent venue

Also they have lots of Broadway shows and operas and it is located , right in the downtown area, so you can catch a meal and still get to the opera!! A great fun night!!

The Kids shows are boring, and dumb. They are not interesting, and its not worth the money. Haven't seen an adult show, but went on a children's field trip to see a childrens play based on the very hungry catepillar, it was cute, but not worth it.

The theater was designed before the days of amplification, so the acoustics are superb. The local philharmonic orchestra is top-quality and the venue does it justice. The hall is small enough that there are really no bad seats. For ballet or other stage production I always try for front row balcony seats. For music I prefer the orchestra just forward of the balcony overhang.
