Took my freshman daughter to dinner, during my first visit to her college. Wasn't easy to find, but she had heard it was pretty good.
We walked in and were offered a spot on their balcony/patio. It was beautiful, right next to a river.
We asked the waitress for a suggestions on appetizers and meals. She would only tell us what was popular, not give her own opinion, but she did not steer us wrong. The food was quite good and was plentiful, we both took home left-overs. In general it was a nice experience. It did seem that they might not have had enough staff, because at one point our waitress disappeared and did not return for quite a while. When I mentioned that we had "missed her" she muttered something about being double stacked, but then completed eveything very nicely for us. I would eat here again.

What a break from diners and regular restaurants. Food is good, you can make them spicy or mild. Big space to have dinner with friends and family

Wow this place is popular. We came to eat and had to leave and come back after a walk about town. Lots of large groups gather here and the staff handles them easily. Beers and margaritas flow. We didn't indulge in the margaritas as they were of the frozen variety and the barkeep didn't seem that comfortable mixing up one the traditional way. The Corona lite was perfect though. The meals are very generous and just what you would expect from a cantina. The quesadilla was chocked full of filling and the enchilada was yummy. The beans tasted more like Boston Baked beans than either refried or pinto. The chips could be fresher but the salsa was fabulous!

The food and staff were wonderful. Ate here twice this week and was excellent both times.

Last night we had 12 in our group and the server was awesome and the food was great.

This is the place to eat in Potsdam

Beautiful old building and slightly above average food - tasty but not "wow this is good" with the first bite. Pricing about right - it is a college town. Do not sit at a table under one of the big windows in the winter. The cold air from the window surface falling on you may have you keeping your jacket on. I would go back.
